Manuatele.net conducted a poll,which they ran most of the summer up to September 14, 2006. It asked the question - Who would you most likely vote for in the next election for American Samoa's representative to the US Congress?

Here's the final results of that poll:

Faleomavaega 59 14%
Amata 343 83%
Someone else 13 3%


Webmaster's note: It's my understanding that many of you aren't actually living in American Samoa now, and may not vote in the next American Samoa election. Hence, the following results would only show how visitors (hoping that they vote only one time) of Manuatele.NET currently feel and is not a true indicator of what might be a result next November 2006 election.

At the close of the nominations for the territory s elections in November, there are now three candidates running to represents American Samoa in the US House of Representatives. They are Faleomavaega Eni Hunkin (current congressman), Aumua Amata Coleman, and Muavaefaatasi Ae Ae Jr.
